The UAE’s sole distributor of Mazda vehicles installed a Flowcrete flooring solution in its workshop to ensure a reliable surface that could provide added operational benefits.

The dealership, owned by Galadari Automobiles Co. and based on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, has had an exclusive partnership with Japan’s Mazda Motor Corporation to distribute their cars in the UAE for the past 35 years.

Delivering a high standard for after-sales servicing and support is a crucial element of Galadari Automobiles’ daily business practise. To ensure it maintained a good reputation in this area, a robust and reliable floor was required in the workshop attached to the company’s showroom. It was vital that this flooring solution would be able to withstand the multiple challenges of the busy environment such as foot and wheeled traffic, exposure to automotive oils and frequent cleaning.

3,600 m² of Flowshield LXP HD was installed in the workshop to provide a seamless finish with a high abrasion and chemical resistant profile. This system is ideal for facilities where heavy equipment, forklift truck movement and industrial chemicals are frequently used as it can withstand the on-site operational activities over an extended period of time.

Galadari Automobiles utilised the design flexibility of the Flowshield system to enhance the working environment by incorporating a variety of different colours into the finish that clearly demarcated different zones, aiding navigation and workflow around the site.
