Zafco

At the new corporate offices of Zafco Dubai, the region's largest importer and exporter of automotive tyres, a seamless epoxy resin terrazzo has been installed to achieve a dramatic minimalist effect.

Designed by AK Design of Dubai, the concept for the new office headquarters called for simple clean lines and minimalist architecture.

Flowcrete's Mondéco Crystal, in a cool Snow white finish, was chosen for the main entrance lobby, the mezzanine, reception area, the second floor offices and kitchen.

Mondéco's joint-free and sparkling finish has helped achieve the design requirements with stunning effect. Containing recycled crystal mirror glass aggregates, Mondéco has been designed to reduce the need for artificial strip and spot lighting in commercial areas by increasing the inbuilt light reflectivity properties of the floor itself - helping to reduce energy costs and improve light quality.

The hard-wearing, easy to clean Mondéco was also installed to the front entrance step and around the external water feature.
