Hilton DoubleTree

Hilton Hotels & Resorts installed a fast curing flooring solution at its brand new DoubleTree hotel in Jumeirah Beach, Dubai.

Boasting a fantastic location on ‘The Walk,’ a vibrant waterfront promenade in Dubai, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel features 110 rooms, and breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf Sea and the iconic Palm Jumeirah man-made island. 

The facility has two restaurants, which both serve cuisine from across the globe and are serviced by one state of the art kitchen. 

Hilton required a flooring system that would encompass excellent durability and chemical resistant properties and be able to withstand the icy temperatures in its cold stores and freezers, as well as stand up to the fierce heat generated by its ovens.

With that in mind 1500m² of the hardwearing, decorative resin floor topping, Flowfast Quartz was specified for installation throughout the entirety of the kitchen and in all service corridors.

Flowfast Quartz has been developed for use in production areas, kitchens and wet and dry process areas where the floor is subject to heavy traffic, impact and chemical spills.

The MMA flooring system also facilitates very fast track applications, taking typically 90 minutes to fully cure and become trafficable - dramatically reducing down time and allowing for follow on trades to access the site much earlier than usual.
